Terms and Conditions of Acomodo Properties, S.A.
Welcome to AcoModorentals, The following are the terms and conditions governing the use of our Web Site and vacation rental services offered by Acomodo Properties, S.A.
By using our Website and/or our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use our Website or our services.
Booking and Payment
1.1 The client can make the reservation through the Website or by direct contact with Acomodo.
1.2 The payment of the reservation shall be made by bank transfer, credit card or PayPal.
1.3 The rental price includes applicable taxes, cleaning fees and other charges described on the booking page of the Website.
Cancellations and Changes to the Reservation
2.1 In case of cancellation by the client, the following cancellation policy shall apply:
If cancelled more than 15 days in advance, 100% of the payment will be refunded.
If cancelled less than 7 days in advance, 50% of the payment will be retained.
If cancelled less than 48 hours/ 2 days in advance, 100% of the payment will be withheld.
2.2 In case Acomodo cancels the reservation for reasons beyond the client's control, 100% of the payment will be refunded.
2.3 If the client wishes to change the reservation, Acomodo will make every effort to accommodate requests for changes. However, Acomodo cannot guarantee that the requested changes can be made.
Client's Responsibilities
3.1 The client is responsible for keeping the rented property in good condition and for paying for any damage caused during his/her stay.
3.2 The client is responsible for following all rules and regulations of the property and the community in which the property is located.
3.3 The client is responsible for informing AcoModo of any problem or damage to the property immediately.
Responsibilities of Acomodo
4.1 Acomodo undertakes to provide a clean property in good condition for the client's stay and to respond to any problems or concerns of the client during his/her stay.
4.2 Acomodo will not be responsible for any accident suffered by the client during his/her stay in the rented property due to misuse of the facilities.
4.3 Acomodo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage arising out of the use of the Website or Acomodo's services during your stay.
4.4 Acomodo shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by events beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil commotion, war, strikes or other labor disruptions, power or communications network failures, and failures of third party equipment or software.
4.5 In any event, Acomodo's total liability for any claim related to the Website or Acomodo's services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the vacation rental.
Applicable Law
5.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Panama.
5.2 Any dispute relating to these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Republic of Panama.
Privacy Policy
6.1 Acomodo is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and users of the Website.
6.2 Acomodo will not share customer's personal information with third parties without the express consent of the customer, unless required by law.
6.3 Accommodation may collect personal customer information, such as name, email address, telephone number and payment details, for the purpose of processing and administering bookings and payments.
6.4 Acomodo may use the customer's personal information to send promotional information about our services and properties, provided that the customer has consented to receive such information.
6.5 Accommodation will use reasonable measures to protect the customer's personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
Limitation of Liability
10.1 Acomodo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage arising out of the use of the Website or Acomodo's services.
10.2 Acomodo shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by events beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil commotion, war, strikes or other labor disruptions, power or communications network failures, and failures of third party equipment or software.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Acomodo with respect to the use of the Website and vacation rental services. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be construed in accordance with applicable law and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
